Erica is an associate in the firm’s Health Law practice area, where she counsels healthcare providers on transactional, regulatory, and operational matters. Her practice includes drafting and reviewing agreements, advising clients on regulatory compliance, and counseling providers on risk management in the delivery of healthcare.
Before joining Pierce & Mandell, Erica was a Legal Fellow in the Office of General Counsel at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she advised clinical and administrative leaders on complex patient care and operational issues, developed legal guidance and policies, and analyzed emerging healthcare laws and regulations. She also oversaw the hospital’s Medical-Legal Partnership Program for which she received Boston Children’s Hospital’s 2025 Impact Award.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Erica spent more than a decade in nonprofit leadership and public policy roles focused on improving healthcare access and public health. She held leadership positions at Parenting Journey, Pro-Choice America, and Health Care For All.
Erica earned her J.D. with distinction in Health and Biomedical Law from Suffolk University Law School and her B.S. from St. Lawrence University. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her three rescue dogs.
