Scott is a Shareholder and litigator on the firm’s employment and business litigation teams. He has represented businesses, health care practices, and individuals in commercial disputes, as well as matters involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, workplace discrimination, corporate governance, and violations of state and federal wage and hour laws.
Scott has a broad range of experience and has worked across Pierce & Mandell’s practice groups. He has tried multiple cases, litigated before Massachusetts Superior Court, Probate Court, Land Court, the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and appeared in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Scott serves a member of the Board of Directors for East Boston Main Streets, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the enhancement of East Boston’s business districts and improving the quality of life for those that live, work, and do business in East Boston. Scott was named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers “Rising Star” list in 2020, 2021, and 2022, a recognition given to the top 2.5% of eligible lawyers in the state.
A native of California, Scott enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young son, traveling, cooking, and playing hockey with his friends.
