Practice Areas Litigation Insurance Defense Intellectual Property Law

Tom Kenney is a shareholder in Pierce & Mandell, P.C. His practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation , intellectual property law, and insurance defense/personal injury. Tom has significant experience trying cases in the state and federal courts, and has successfully prosecuted and defended appeals in both the state and federal appellate courts. Tom also has an active practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he has registered hundreds of trademarks and service marks for his clients.  In addition, Tom manages numerous foreign trademark portfolios for clients trading worldwide.

Tom is a 1989 graduate cum laude from Boston College, and a 1992 graduate cum laude from Boston College Law School, where he was an editor of the Boston College Law Review. He is admitted to the bars of the Supreme Judicial Court, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Tom is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, and the Boston College Law School Alumni Association.

An avid sports fan, Tom formerly hosted a weekly sports talk show on WWZN in Boston on Monday nights.  He and his wife Katie enjoy world travel in their free time.
