Our Medical Staff Proceedings practice
area is headed jointly by William M. Mandell and
Dean P. Nicastro, each with considerable
experience with medical peer review, hospital medical staff corrective action
and fair hearing proceedings, and disciplinary appeals.
They are joined by Robert R. Pierce, who
has an extensive background in medical litigation and adjudicatory proceedings.
We make it our goal to be well-versed in institutional medical staff
bylaws and policies, and to stay current with the state and federal laws and
regulations and Joint Commission standards that govern medical staff corrective
action investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
